Sandy Dolan is from Searsport and paints coastal and Katahdin region scenes, some with figures. After graduating with a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and studying photography at the New England School of Art in Boston, Sandy also studied with nationally-known landscape painters Stapleton Kearns and John Cosby. Her work is full of the fresh colors of the Maine landscape; purpley blues, pale pinks and oranges offset by deep and bright greens, and the subjects of Maine; lobster boats and recreational boats, plus friendly harbor scenes. A pleasing reminder of "the way life should be" for anyone’s home or office.
