"For me, nothing refreshes my spirit as quickly as a few hours outside. Quiet observation of nearly any scene helps me learn about the place and the people who frequent it. Painting "en plein air" adds to that experience. I meet the most interesting people who eall me about their families, their homes and their towns. It's a great opportunity for sharing and I love that my art is a catalyst for that."
